Sunday Streets Salsa Block Party

Come hear authentic cuban salsa, learn how to dance to spicy latin rhythms and see some of the Bay Area's best salsa dancers perform! Sunday October 12th, Salsa Vale Todos presents a salsa block party like the bay area has never seen before featuring Rumbaché, one of the hottest San Francisco Bay Area Salsa Bands. Rumbache, the 9-member band from Oakland, California, is well-known in the salsa scene for their exuberant stage presence and originality as they fuse salsa, timba and bomba in tightly executed and unexpectedly ways. And while you can hear them interpreting the classic and contemporary Cuban and Salsa repertoire, their fresh originals make them stand-out in a cover heavy scene. Rumbaché is the voice of youth for San Francisco Bay Area's Salsa & Latin Live Music scene, and ignites enthusiasm in dancers and musical connoisseurs alike. DJ Antonio Chavez will turn it up between sets with timba salsa, meregue, rumba, rock and more.

Salsa Vale Todo is a Cuban Salsa dance group with an emphasis on Rueda De Casino. Salsa Vale Todo was co-founded and is co-directed by Nick and Serena, who also incorporate Samba, Afro-Brazilian, Son, Hip Hop, Capoeira, Kung-Fu and other styles of Salsa into their choreographies. SVT and their directors Nick and Serena were responsible for creating the First Salsa Rueda Festival and are looking forward to a great fourth year of promoting the best Salsa Festival in the U.S.
