Nick and Serena are both excellent dancers and, which is not always the case, excellent teachers. They are very clear in their instruction and are always concerned about avoiding injury when dancing. As a physical therapist I value that aspect of their teaching style. It is very helpful when first learning to follow to have a strong and clear leader. This is not always the case when one is in a class situation, or even dancing in a club. Nick provided that gentle but decisive lead. While Nick could provide the instruction from the “inside” of the dancing, Serena provided the outside perspective. She was able to offer insight into why certain movements felt awkward as well as invaluable styling suggestions. I highly recommend their private lessons. It will definitely put you on the fast track to being a better dancer.
